My gut health (and yours!)

Back when I was struggling with bloating and digestive issues, I did loads of research on gut health. 

🧠 I learned some surprising + interesting stuff:

  • Around 70-80% of the body's immune cells are located in the gut. So: take care of your gut, and you’re also improving your immune system.
  • Around 95% of our serotonin is found in the gut. Our body’s ‘happy hormone,’ serotonin plays a crucial role in regulating mood, happiness, and mental health—while it also contributes to sleep, appetite, learning, and memory.
